This topic will enable you to develop the understanding needed to collect, analyse and interpret data to inform business decision-making for real-world business problems. The topic assesses sources of business data, methods of summarising data and ways in which the data can be analysed and communicated to make evidence-based decisions. The topic introduces essential concepts, tools and methods of analysis and statistics. The focus is on concepts, reasoning, interpretation, and thinking that build upon formulae and theory. The topic covers both descriptive statistics and inferential statistics.
