- The knowledge base that underpins the psychology of, and psychological engagement with, the criminal justice system
- The practical application of psychological theories in the criminal justice system (i.e., the assessment and management of people who commit crime)
- Ethical issues associated with correctional settings
- Psychological understandings of justice
