Aims
This topic aims to:
- Develop advanced practice skills required to deliver therapeutic supports to people with disability, with a focus of functional skills training
- Develop advanced skills in the ethical administration, interpretation and report writing of standardised and individualised assessments commonly used by developmental educators and other allied health professionals
- Develop advanced skills in writing case notes, supervision and supporting health professionals and informal supports
Learning outcomes
On completion of this topic you will be expected to be able to:

Create an instructional program to increase skill development and independence of a learner with disability
2.
Demonstrate the application of ethical administration principles in standardised and individualised assessments
3.
Accurately interpret assessment findings, formulate and clearly articulate recommendations in professional reports accessible for all key stakeholders
