Aims
This topic provides pre-service teachers with an awareness of the key elements of grammar for education, introducing key terms and concepts, theories, and figures that impact education more broadly and teaching specifically.
Learning outcomes
On completion of this topic you will be expected to be able to:

Define and employ key concepts in education; including pedagogy, curriculum and assessment
2.
Identify and critically analyse the influence of social issues, including class, ethnicity, race and geographical location, on educational outcomes
3.
Evaluate a range of pedagogical approaches and their application across multiple contexts
4.
Demonstrate skills in analysing research literature and reflecting knowledgeably and critically on their own and others' educational experiences
