Aims

To give students the opportunity to:

  • Introduce pre‐service teachers to relevant curriculum frameworks and curriculum development processes for Health and Physical Education
  • Enhance pre‐service teachers’ ability to articulate the evidence supporting their practice in Health and Physical Education and the rationale for their approach
  • Develop pre‐service teachers’ capacity to deliver meaningful learning experiences in Health and Physical Education
  • Critically analyse pedagogical practices in Health and Physical education
