Aims
This topic aims to:
- Enhance pre-service teacher confidence, knowledge and skills in learning and teaching the Expressive Arts
- Enable pre-service teachers to generate and synthesise an inclusive and appropriate Expressive Arts program for children aged birth-5 or birth-8 years
- Enhance pre-service teachers' personal approach to teaching the Expressive Arts based on their critical analysis of practical experience as well as in the light of a range of theoretical perspectives
Learning outcomes
On completion of this topic you will be expected to be able to:

Develop resources and a range of methodologies and skills for teaching the expressive arts
2.
Demonstrate ability to plan for effective and developmentally appropriate teaching in the expressive arts
3.
Foster children's curiosity and play as they investigate their social and physical worlds through the Expressive Arts
