Aims
Develop professional resilience through a focus on personal and social capabilities. Pre-service teacher will be challenged to consider a range of inclusive teaching practices and reflect on their experiences with children and young people to further inform their own teaching.
Learning outcomes
On completion of this topic you will be expected to be able to:

Analyse current research and legislative requirements to cultivate inclusive classrooms
2.
Apply knowledge of learner diversity to design effective physical, organisational, and instructional structures to foster inclusive practices
3.
Outline Response to Intervention (RtI) procedures to ameliorate learning and behavioural difficulties
4.
Create and enact instructional plans based on research informed and evidence-based practices: Universal Design for Learning (UDL), Differentiated Instruction (DI), Explicit Instruction & Systematic Instruction (SI)
