Aims
This topic aims to enable students to:
- Develop areas of interest arising out of the theoretical and research literature in education. A range of activities is permissible
- Work independently and explore a topic of particular relevance to their specific context
- Produce a substantial and credible paper that displays their knowledge and critical analysis of the area upon which they are focusing
Learning outcomes
On completion of this topic you will be expected to be able to:

Apply extensive, critical knowledge of the research and theory relevant to your area of focus

Develop a research proposal that demonstrates a high level of academic rigour and expression
