Aims

This topic aims to:

  • Develop advanced independent research skills in one area of TESOL theory or practice
  • Allow students to generate particular skills/knowledge relating to an area of TESOL theory or practice
  • Improve students' research skills and ability to critically evaluate literature
  • Develop students' skills in justifying and interpreting theoretical positions, and the ability to construct, test and defend an argument
