Aims
This topic introduces students to the field of digital forensics including the practical aspect of forensic investigation. Aspects to be covered include approaches to digital forensic investigation, the basics of computer, network and mobile device forensics, CCTV imaging and processing, vehicle forensics, UAVs and geospatial analysis. Incident response, evidence acquisition, preserving, analysis, report, and presentation and the legal aspects of digital forensics will also be covered.
