Aims
This topic aims to:
- Introduce students to the use of Geospatial Information Systems and provide a solid grounding in the theoretical and conceptual aspects of GIS
- Give students experience working with widely used GIS software, using many of the generic analysis methods that are applied in a wide range of application areas such as geography, civil engineering, earth sciences, environmental science, biology, archaeology, the health sciences and computer science
