Aims

This topic aims to:

  • Provide an account of the internet and emerging digital technologies and practices
  • Enable an understanding of key political concepts, ideas, actors, and debates on political behaviour, systems, and economy, and the public realm relevant to the internet and new digital technologies
  • Apply this knowledge in comprehending the implications for the individual, society, politics, and international relations, and public policy and to specific selected issue areas
  • Foster curiosity, critical thinking and engagement with broader political, international relations and public policy issues and processes that empower human agency and facilitate governance in the digital age

Learning outcomes
