Aims

This topic aims to equip students to take an evidence-based approach to innovation in policy and program design, implementation, adaptation and evaluation. The complex nature of today’s biggest public challenges requires innovation, concept testing and trialing and real-time data to inform ongoing iterative adaptation. This topic will equip students with the knowledge to move confidently into innovating for the public good.

Learning outcomes

On completion of this topic you will be expected to be able to:

Determine an evidence-based approach to policy and program design, implementation and evaluation
2.
Create evaluative evidence to support and improve policymaking and program management
3.
Develop a policy and program evaluation plan appropriate to a particular organization
