Aims

The topic aims to give students skills and knowledge to work in allied health settings. Students will develop safe practical skills required to work with people require support to participate in daily activities. They will understand the scope of practice and ethical considerations for allied health professionals and students. 

Learning outcomes

On completion of this topic you will be expected to be able to:

Describe the scope of practice of allied health professionals and demonstrate understanding of the delegation of care

Explain interprofessional practice within allied health settings
3.
Demonstrate an understanding of safe and ethical practices in the workplace
4.
Demonstrate emerging reflective practice skills
5.
Describe the principles of supporting individuals with participation in daily activities
