Aims
This topic aims to:
- Consolidate knowledge of evidence-based practice as it applies to research and students' area of specialty
- Further explore ethics in health research
- Equip students with the knowledge and skills to competently identify research areas for investigation, to generate research questions and to use research to solve those questions
- Fortify students' ability to critically evaluate others' research
- Develop students' skills in the clear and coherent communication of health research using both written and oral methods
- Develop students' employability skills and job seeking skills
- Encourage students to work independently and develop accountability for their own professional development
