Aims

This topic aims to:

  • Review and expand Modern Greek grammatical structures and vocabulary acquired previously
  • Recognise, reproduce and describe grammatical, syntactic, lexical and phonetic patterns
  • Produce various complex text types in Modern Greek
  • Select, distinguish and understand various genres of text in Modern Greek, and particularly Modern Greek literature
  • Enhance communicative competence through participation in activities involving group or pair interaction
  • Expose students to independent and collaborative learning and to language learning skill development
