This topic aims to:
- Build on students' knowledge of the fundamental principles of nutrition science
- Develop students' knowledge of normal growth and development and nutritional requirements at all stages of the life cycle
Learning outcomes
On completion of this topic you will be expected to be able to:

Apply nutritional and dietary requirements across each stage of the lifescycle for optimal health
2.
Summarise the role of nutrition in the prevention and management of common conditions known to occur across the lifecycle
3.
Identify the barriers and facilitators for maintaining or achieving optimal nutritional status across the lifecycle among different population groups
