Aims
This topic aims to provide an opportunity to explore critical foundation theories, concepts and models of health promotion and then use these to critique contemporary debates in health promotion, national health frameworks, and your practice, practice setting, values and activities.
Learning outcomes
On completion of this topic you will be expected to be able to:

Explain key health promotion terminology and theoretical concepts

Justify the rationale for addressing a public health issue using health promotion theory and practice
3.
Appraise health promotion published literature
4.
Develop a proposal to address a health promotion scenario, including a needs assessment
