  • Provide students with the opportunity to identify the salient factors impacting on diverse client systems
  • Discuss culturally competent approaches that underlie social work interventions with diverse client systems
  • Present the complexity of social work fields of practice and service organisations
  • Provide an appreciation of the historical and international context of social work and diversity
