Aims
This topic aims to:
- Ensure students can understand, critique and apply research methodology to inform their clinical practice
- Develop students’ understanding of themselves as clinician-researchers
- Assist students to formulate research questions and hypotheses
- Facilitate selection of appropriate experimental and non-experimental research designs to test hypotheses
- Support knowledge regarding accurate design and implementation of clinical research
- Relate research design to evidence-based practice principles
