Aims
This topic aims to provide students with an in-depth understanding of advanced GIS methodologies for the editing and management, delivery of spatial information.
Learning outcomes
On completion of this topic you will be expected to be able to:

Demonstrate the creation, editing and building of topologically correct spatial information in a spatial information management system
2.
Design and populate a spatial information management system for the distribution of spatial information
3.
Build web mapping services for on-line delivery and communication of spatial information
4.
Demonstrate an ability to visualize spatial information in both 2D and 3D environments
5.
Identify errors and issues associated with spatial data management
6.
Present and critically analyse spatial information for a professional audience
