Aims

This topic introduces the key models and frameworks for reflection in an educational and professional context, and invites students to critically evaluate their application in education. Students will apply their learning in meaningful authentic assessment tasks and have opportunities to engage with other students in a range of activities.

Learning outcomes

On completion of this topic you will be expected to be able to:

Apply knowledge of the key theories and frameworks underpinning the practice of critical reflection
2.
Analyse and critique the implementation of reflective practices in curricula
3.
Develop and evaluate a critical reflection task for a cohort of students in health
4.
Critically reflect on their own practice as a professional and educator
