Aims

The aim of this topic is to provide students with an understanding of the core motivational, environmental and personality dimensions of relationship development in organised sport. Students will be introduced to fundamental theories of interpersonal and intrapersonal relationship development and apply their knowledge to new situations in sport. Contemporary issues, theories and research relating to a range of areas of sporting relationships are discussed.
