Aims
This topic aims to:
- Review and expand Italian grammatical structures and vocabulary previously acquired
- Enhance communicative competence through participation in activities involving group or pair interaction
- Expose students to independent and collaborative learning and to language learning skill development
Learning outcomes
On completion of this topic you will be expected to be able to:
1.
Construe a breadth of meanings from everyday natural written texts and spoken passages in Italian, across different genres and text types
2.
Use moderately complex Italian to communicate independently and efficiently in speech and in writing, in a range of text types and for different purposes
3.
Interpret and produce a range of complex grammatical and syntactical structures and vocabulary in Italian
4.
Integrate specific features of Italian culture, as they are expressed through language: history, society, etc.
