Overview
This topic is designed to develop further the students' proficiency in the four skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing. Classes will cover features of the Italian language, particularly syntax and stylistics, appropriate to this level. Students will use and produce a range of complex texts in Italian.

Aims
This topic aims to:
- Develop further learners' knowledge of Italian grammatical structures and vocabulary acquired through their studies
- Further enhance the students' communicative competence through participation in activities involving exposure to a variety of media and group or pair interaction
Learning outcomes
On completion of this topic you will be expected to be able to:

Critically interpret authentic written texts and spoken passages in Italian from a wider range of different standards and registers
2.
Use articulated Italian to communicate autonomously and proficiently in speech and in writing, in an extended range of registers
3.
Produce a further range of nuanced grammatical and lexical elements in Italian
4.
Critique specific aspects of Italian culture, as they are expressed through language: technology, business, etc.
