Aims
This topic aims to:
- Explore and construct an understanding of the professional knowledge, skills and attributes required for a Registered Nurse as determined by the NMBA Registered Nurse Standards for Practice, NMBA Code of Conduct for Nurses and ICN Code of Ethics for Nurses, and relevant State and National legislation within the Australian Healthcare context
- Introduce students to regional, national and global health priorities, standards for safety and quality in health care and evidence-based practice in health
