Aims

This topic aims to enable students to:

  • Assess real life situations from a critical thinking perspective
  • Understand cognitive biases
  • Learn about some common fallacies in reasoning
  • Learn some basic elements of logic and rhetoric
  • Understand and apply the principles for avoiding misinformation and manipulation
