Aims
This topic aims to:
- Increase understanding and appreciation of how human behaviour can be investigated scientifically and the methods used to do so
- Enable learning and practice of skills that are required for the conduct of scientific research
- Improve analytical and interpretive skills
- Enable students to become critical consumers of psychological research

Plan and justify appropriate research designs for a range of basic studies

Interpret data from various types of basic research designs
