Aims
The aims of this topic are to develop and practice:
- Oral, visual and written communication of psychological research
- Communication and reflectivity of one’s emerging career-related skills in psychology
- Interpersonal skills to work collaboratively as part of a team
Learning outcomes
On completion of this topic you will be expected to be able to:
1.
Work within a team to communicate psychological research in a variety of areas orally, visually, and in writing
2.
Communicate and reflect on one’s emerging career-related skills in psychology and (where relevant) other applicable professional industries/organisations
3.
Provide effective peer review and self-reflective practice
4.
Effectively articulate the contribution of the psychology discipline more broadly, such as how psychology can help to solve real world problems
5.
Effectively communicate and disseminate research knowledge/findings across different modalities and audiences
