Aims

This topic aims to help the student develop the skills required for advanced and flexible practice of Cognitive behaviour Therapy (CBT), using a student's experience of CBT during first placement and other case studies as a way of learning about the difficulties in the application of CBT. In addition, we will be seeking to examine the use of CBT with a range of problems, and clinical disorders, and comorbidities. The course will be taught in such a way as to promote guided discovery and use of CBT skills, using the framework of a CBT session.
