Aims

This topic aims to:

  • Develop skills of critical thinking for effective, comprehensive writing
  • Review the key principles of clinical rehabilitation, and the theoretical frameworks supporting practice

Learning outcomes

On completion of this topic you will be expected to be able to:

Critically appraise current literature in rehabilitation and demonstrate skills in effective academic writing

Synthesise clinical recommendations from multiple sources and reflect upon clinical practice

Demonstrate understanding and application of the International Classification of Function (ICF) in rehabilitation practice

Describe the defining features of a rehabilitation model of care
