Aims
This topic aims to:
- Introduce students to the management and function of an Australian rehabilitation unit
- Provide an opportunity for students to develop their knowledge of contemporary rehabilitation practice, and participate in delivering holistic, integrated rehabilitation care
- Encourage students to think critically about treatment options, through reflection and the application of evidence based research
Learning outcomes
On completion of this topic you will be expected to be able to:

Critically appraise rehabilitation interventions and measurement tools based on current evidence
2.
Apply patient-centred goal setting principles to multi-disciplinary patient management
3.
Explain the varying discipline roles as they apply to a patient with complex rehabilitation needs
4.
Develop a rehabilitation plan for a patient, and critically analyse its effectiveness and delivery
