Aims
The honours program aims to:
- Allow competent students to extend their undergraduate career by demonstrating their ability to work in a research environment
- Provide students experience in a range of qualitative and quantitative methodologies and analysis
- Provide a pathway for research-oriented undergraduates to pursue postgraduate research study
- Provide students experience in applying basic knowledge to specific problems and prepare them for a career in research and development
- Provide students with fundamental research skills and principles that can be used beyond a research setting
Learning outcomes
On completion students will be able to:

Demonstrate cognitive skills to exercise critical thinking and judgement in developing new understanding
2.
Demonstrate research skills to review, analyse, consolidate and synthesise knowledge and identify and provide solutions to complex problems
3.
Demonstrate the ability to plan, carry out and report on an in-depth analytical research study in an area of educational interest
