Aims

The minor is designed to:

  • Provide pedagogical knowledge and skills in digital innovation and artificial intelligence associated with education
  • Foster critical reflection to analyse these technological advances and a range of impacts and considerations for the teaching profession and education more broadly

Students will engage with a sound analysis and synthesis of contemporary teaching practices through pedagogical approaches and curriculum integration across a range of teaching styles.

On completion students will be able to:

Develop innovative practices to explore links between curriculum, pedagogical approaches and digital innovations including artificial intelligence in education

Identify how teaching and learning can inform digital innovations through collaborative and integrated solutions

Develop curriculum using evidence-based practices that seeks to address contemporary challenges surrounding digital education and artificial intelligence
