Aims

The major aims to provide graduates with:

  • An advanced knolwdge and understanding of electrical power and renewable energy systems
  • Modelling and analytical skills required for power system operations and renewable energy tranistions
  • An ability to solve complex industry problems in electrical power and renewable energy engineering
  • Further skills in their ability to undertake practically feasible research projects in electrical power and renewable energy systems

Learning outcomes

On completion students will be able to:

Proficiently use professional skills and knowledge in the systematic design and development of complex electrical power and renewable energy systems

Demonstrate a deeper understanding of electrical power and renewable energy engineering and their contributions for energy transitions
