Aims
The Graduate Certificate in International Relations aims to introduce the theory and practice of international relations to students interested in a career in this area.
Learning outcomes
On completion of the course you will be able to:
1.
Appraise concepts, theories, contemporary trends and developments in international relations
2.
Evaluate complex information and issues in international relations
3.
Critique the implications of existing research for the theory and practice of international relations
4.
Relate knowledge, skills and ideas to specialist and non-specialist audiences
Student progression rules
The award of a grade of Fail (F) in the same topic on more than one occassion may constitute prima facie evidence of unsatisfactory progress for the purposes of the University's Policy on Student Progress.
Except with the permission of the Dean (Education) a student may not include a topic which repeats work previously undertaken.
