Aims
This course aims to produce graduates who are knowledgeable advocates for the role of nutrition and exercise in supporting community health and wellbeing. Graduates will have advanced, real-world knowledge and skills to promote healthy nutrition and engaging and safe physical activity within a wide range of settings including public health, health education, or health promotion. With an additional focus on counselling and communication skills, this course will prepare graduates to become contemporary, client-centred health practitioners who can work effectively with teams, organisations and individuals from a variety of backgrounds. They will also understand and navigate the complexities of health behaviour changes and know how to apply technologies to support health practice and intervention.
