Aims

This course provides students with the opportunity to develop knowledge and competencies that will provide a foundation for further study and careers in business-related fields. Students will be encouraged and supported to develop transferable interpersonal and professional capabilities, with a focus on the application of knowledge, competencies, and capabilities to a range of business/organisational contexts. Students will apply their knowledge and competencies to a range of business/organisational practices including systems and processes, planning, production, and operations.

Learning outcomes

On completion of the course you will be able to:

Apply foundational knowledge and skills across key disciplines of business to inform business planning and strategy
2.
Apply business practices and decisions using systems thinking, ethical, cultural, sustainability, governance and global and local perspectives to create impact
3.
Use existing and emerging technologies to develop innovative business solutions
4.
Effectively communicate technical advice and decisions to specialists and non-specialists
5.
Practice professional resilience, reflection, collaboration and inclusivity, and plan for lifelong learning
