Aims
The course aims to support health and social care professionals to:
- Develop a range of core transferable skills (evidence informed; inter and intra disciplinary engaged; reflexive; equity oriented; and impact focused) which are essential for planning, designing, delivering, and evaluating high-quality learning and teaching experiences
- Work across disciplinary and cultural boundaries to critically inquire, problem solve, and generate innovative educational solutions
- Make a positive impact on health and clinical education in their local setting and beyond
Learning outcomes
On completion of the course you will be able to:

Curate and appraise the best available evidence on learning and teaching processes and practices (evidence-informed)
2.
Engage with perspectives and applications of health and clinical education, from across professions, disciplines, geographies, sectors, and knowledge systems (inter and intra disciplinary engaged)
3.
Identify taken-for-granted personal values, beliefs, and practices related to learning and teaching (reflexive)
4.
Recognise the social, cultural, institutional, historical, political circumstances and contexts of health and clinical education, including those impacting on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and Indigenous people (equity orientated)

Recognise what influence and impact in learning and teaching looks like at the individual level (impact focussed)
