Aims
The major has been designed to provide graduates with:
- An understanding of both the theoretical and the practical aspects of selected electrical engineering areas in addition to the core mechanical engineering areas
- An in-depth understanding of the processes and techniques used in electro-mechanical systems
- An ability to critically analyse and evaluate information and solve problems
- Further skills in their ability to undertake research-oriented and practical projects
