Aims
- Develop the ability to apply design thinking and engineering principles to solve complex problems and create innovative solutions.
- Provide a strong foundation in the technical skills required for design and engineering, including computer-aided design.
- Equip students with knowledge about materials science, manufacturing techniques, and product lifecycle management.
- Promote the ability to think holistically about complex systems and their interactions, integrating design, technology, and engineering components.
- Instill an understanding of ethical considerations and sustainability practices in design and engineering.
Learning outcomes
On completion students will be able to:
