Aims
The Associate Degree in Health Sciences is a multidisciplinary degree that aims to prepare you for a career or further study in the diverse modern healthcare environment. The flexible program of study begins with core topics providing a fundamental understanding of anatomy and physiology, health systems, and social and psychological determinants of health and well-being essential to health practice. Elective topics provide you with the opportunity to tailor your learning experience to a broad range of health-related topics, or a more focused program of study through one of the specialisations. You will develop the ability to critically approach new challenges in contemporary healthcare and be equipped to enter the workforce in a variety of health-related sectors. This degree also prepares you for further study in a health-related discipline.

The award of a grade of Fail (F) in the same topic on more than one occasion, or failure to complete the course within four consecutive years, may constitute prima facie evidence of unsatisfactory progress for the purposes of the Student Progress Policy.
