Admission requirements
Aims
The aims of the course are to provide advanced studies in nursing practice and research to prepare nurses to contribute to the development of health care services and the nursing profession.
Student progression rules
Failure to complete the course within eight consecutive semesters or the award of a grade of Fail (F) in the same topic on more than one occasion or in 9 units or more, may constitute prima facie evidence of unsatisfactory progress for the purposes of the University's Policy on Student Progress.
Note that students who wish to use their masters qualification to satisfy entry into a Flinders University research higher degree program are required to have completed at least an 18 unit postgraduate research component.
