Aims

The Master of Advanced Social Work Practice aims to provide qualified and experienced practitioners with advanced practice knowledge and skills in areas of emerging and in demand need. The required research component develops the skills and knowledge necessary for today’s advanced practice and in further studies.  

Learning outcomes

On completion of the course you will be able to:

Create environments that foster evidence-based practice for social work practitioners
2.
Apply collaborative approaches to practice reflection and improvement to enhance the quality of practice
3.
Investigate alternative approach to SW that support the development and success of social workers, communities and individuals
4.
Implement contextually relevant social work innovation through creative and effective advanced practice and leadership
5.
Apply deeper knowledge and skills of practice approaches relevant to the changing human services sector and need
