Aims

The course aims to:

  • Build high levels of confidence and proficiency in the target language.
  • Maximise opportunities to progress in language learning within and beyond the classroom learning, drawing on cross-disciplinary knowledge and metacognitive training.
  • Deepen students’ knowledge of the cultures associated with their chosen language.
  • Develop students’ conceptual understanding of language and linguistics through supported and independent study.
