Aims
The aim of the Criminology degree at Flinders is to prepare undergraduates for successful careers in the criminal justice sector and related fields, through a comprehensive understanding of crime and social harm. Flinders Criminology values and actively fosters critical thinking about, and application of knowledge to solve the pressing criminological problems of our times.
Learning outcomes
On completion of the course you will be able to:

Critically examine the causes, experiences, and ways of preventing crime and social harm, through both individual and systemic lenses

Apply quantitative and qualitative research and analytical skills to generate innovative and practical solutions within professional settings in and beyond the field of criminology
